Desiring some 'retreat time" to visit a convent with other discerners? Catholic Young Adult Women are invited for an experience of Franciscan Life at our Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Motherhouse in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Plan ahead to be with us. September 20-23 October 3-5 (Celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi with us!) November 1-3 December 6-8 (Celebrate Advent with us!) January 17-19 February 14-16 (Celebrate Valentine's Day with Jesus and us!) March, April, May TBA Coming to our home, you will have an opportunity to have conversations with many Sisters. Expect some significant quiet moments to reflect on God's great love for you. Given our closeness to the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, we are sensitive to include a visit whenever possible to call on Mary's intercession. Discernment Help: Spiritual Direction Zoom Retreat

Is God calling you to build up the Church like Saints Francis and Clare? Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity invite you a Zoom retreat, open to single, young adult Catholic women. Spiritual Director Sister Anne Marie Lom facilitates this experience. Expect to learn more about these two saints of Assisi. Sister Anne Marie will be available for one-on-one spiritual direction on Saturday or Sunday or at your nearest convenience. Retreat begins with the opening conference via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. CT on September 13, 2024. Sister Pam Biehl will lead the Night Prayer. To register , please call or text 920-323-9632

Make This Your Discerning Year Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity discernment experiences can be as varied as your life allows. We invite you to design your own visit with us. Let us know the days or the hours that you would like to come. If you are interested in a retreat with a particular topic or an event in our Community of Sisters, please continue reading for more specific dates. All in-person events in Wisconsin take place at our Motherhouse, 2409 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. However, we are always ready to make plans to meet our Sisters in any of our convent homes.
