First. if you are feeling moved to consider what you are ‘called to be' whether with or without your own companions (family members, friends), contact us on the dates that work for you. We are here to serve you. Spring breathes new life. Come see the beauty of WI or talk to us about the possibility of visiting one of our convents near you.

Second, consider these options:
Join smaller groups of our Franciscan Sisters during their yearly silent retreat at our Motherhouse, 2409 S. Alverno Rd Manitowoc, WI. Expect to attend conferences, have personal
prayer time, while having some moments to learn and share with others of our Sisters not on retreat during meal time. We hope to open your eyes to our life of prayer, community life and ministry.

Possible dates: July 13-15 or July 17-19
Theme: Transparency and the Franciscan Charism
Retreat Master: Father Peter Kutch, OFM Cap
In our lives as Franciscans we don't just know our story, we are our story. In all that we do we try to do as Francis and Clare did-strive to come to a point where we, as Paul said, "...no longer I live but Christ lives in me." Because of our rich Franciscan Spiritual Tradition we are constantly being challenged to become new creatures in Christ. Our sharing of our lives with others continues to bring to our world something new, yet Franciscan in spirit. Christ is our GIFT to our world.
Possible dates: August 17-19 or August 21-23
Theme: Pausing to Grow in Awareness
Retreat Master: Father James Friedel, OSA
With the insights of some spiritual giants, this retreat seeks to help its participants realize their blessedness by removing the obstacles they/we hold on to which conceal the Kingdom of God within. Thus, we will spend some time trying to discover what hides this blessedness from us, namely, our attachments and our sinfulness.
This retreat takes a down-to-earth approach to spirituality and is conducted in a narrative, storytelling style.
