Ascension Vocation Discernment Retreat Notes: St. Clare Woman of Prayer

Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity were uplifted with the presence of young women discerning our way of life as consecrated women religious May 18-20, 2012. Given the 800th Anniversary of St. Clare's call to follow Jesus and become the first feminine follower of St. Francis is still very much alive in our hearts, retreatants focused on St. Clare's prayer: gazing, considering, contemplating so as to imitate Christ . Friday evening's reflection time outdoors on the Motherhouse grounds and in St. Francis Chapel invited visitors to gaze in quiet attentiveness, open to the wonderful presence of God. Franciscan Sisters April Discernment Invitations

Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity invite young women 20-40 to consider our coming April discernment possibilities. April 19-21: Come Rebuild My Church with Saints Francis and Clare Zoom or In-person Retreat The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic faith. During this period of Eucharistic Revival, might God be calling you to build up His Church like Saints Francis and Clare. Sister Anne Marie Lom leads on this Zoom retreat. Catholic Young Adult Women are invited for an experience of Franciscan Life at our Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Motherhouse in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Plan ahead to be with us. September 20-23 October 3-5 (Celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi with us!) November 1-3 December 6-8 (Celebrate Advent with us!) January 17-19 February 14-16 (Celebrate Valentine's Day with Jesus and us!) March, April, May TBA Coming to our home, you will have an opportunity to have conversations with many Sisters.
